Welcome!

My name is Craig Slane and I am the chief originator of Nostalgia Baseball!

My colleagues and I wanted to generate a computer program that would use the vast and rich archives of Major League Baseball, coupled with the strategies and ideas of ordinary baseball fans, to produce, with ample sophistication, novel games designed to test the baseball prowess of one manager/GM/owner versus another.

We also wanted a program that would periodically produce detailed reports of how each team is doing mid-season. By clicking here we hope you get a sense of the amount of care we have put into the program and the information that is available to owners as they assess their team’s performance.

On this website you will find additional information about the program. If you’d like to get a closer look before you decide to try it out you can contact me and I’ll send you the software.

On the software you’ll find an elaborate Help file that covers all of the various components of the program and you should be able to get a much better “feel” for the game by perusing through the various screens.
